We have received multiple awards for having a C-section rate lower than the state average. This means we avoid unnecessary C-sections, which reduces the changes of risks.

To be recognized, hospitals had to excel on multiple quality metrics that matter to expectant families, including complication rates, C-section rates, whether births were scheduled too early in pregnancy, and how successfully each hospital supported breastfeeding. Only one-third of the hospitals evaluated by U.S. News for maternity care earned a ‘High Performing’ rating, which is the highest rating U.S. News awards for this type of care.

We now proudly offer all private rooms throughout your entire birthing experience - from the time a woman steps into the hospital in labor, to the Mother-Baby (postpartum) Unit, until she leaves to go home with her newborn, she’ll be provided private room accommodations. This further enhances Miller Children’s & Women’s top clinical and quality care, by supporting our birthing families with new comfort amenities. The private rooms within the Mother-Baby Unit are spacious with large windows that offer great amounts of natural light.
